The most important part of doing anything worthwhile is the planning stage. The difference between a good trip and a bad one starts before the trip begins. I have compiled a list of helpful hints and useful links to help make your trip the best experience it can be.

Hint #1: Always stay at one of the WDW Resorts. They allow you to take full advantage of their hospitality, early park openings, transportation system, and all that Walt Disney World has to offer.

Hint #2: Try to plan your stay so that you arrive at your resort one day sooner than you originally wanted to. Why do this? If you arrive a day earlier than you had originally planned you can take a day to get settled and refreshed from your journey. It also means that you can get full value for your
Park Tickets which will begin with the early opening on the following day. There is still plenty to do without visiting the parks. To explore reservations further call 1-407-wdw-disney, or use these links:

Hint #3: Decide what kind of trip you would like to have. Are you there for a relaxing getaway? Are the kids coming along? Do you want to enjoy the resorts and visit the parks at a leisurely pace? Are you planning to open and close the parks each day? By asking yourself these questions you can better decide which resort location best fits your needs, and which park ticket option is best for you.

Hint #4: How will you get there? There are three basic ways to get to Disney. You can drive, fly, or take a train. Each has its own advantages and disadvantages. Driving offers you the most control over your trip. You can decide when you will depart, approximately when you will arrive, and you can easily choose to extend your trip. However, unless you live in a state that borders Florida, it can be a long trip. Air and rail travel are much easier than driving, but they offer less control. You are more at the mercy of their scheduling which does have an effect on arrival, departure, and how much time you have on your first and last day. I have done all three. You cannot beat the ease of air travel, while driving allowed us as much control of our trip as was possible. Do whatever your comfortable with.
